Smart Energy Home presented at World Health Organization Congress in Madrid

Working towards the ministerial summit in 2009 (to be held in Italy), the World Health Organization organized a European region preparatory conference in Madrid last week. As one of the key examples of what industry is doing to improve health of European citizens, the Smart Energy Home (SEH) initiative was presented.

A key theme of the conference was the need to find measures that can reduce Climate Change while at the same time improving the healthiness of buildings in which people spent most of their lives. At the conference, several senior representatives of countries like Italy and Hungary expressed their explicit interest in collaborating with SEH in order to bring the potential benefits of SEH residential buildings to their citizens.
